Carb DM is looking for a full-time Program Manager who can plan, organize, and execute the Carb DM programs that we all know and love. This includes recurring programs such as Type 1 Topics, Coffee & Carbs, Beer & Basals, Diabetes 101 and Carbs in the Park, as well as supporting annual events such as the Bay Area Diabetes Summit, our Anniversary Celebration, Mother Daughter Weekend, and Coyote Point 5K.
As Program Manager, you’ll have significant responsibility within the organization. You’ll develop mission-focused program content, assist marketing efforts, recruit volunteers, navigate logistics, help with on-site event management, and post-program evaluations. You’ll develop relationships with Carb DM’s volunteers, donors, vendors, medical partners, board members, and community members. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative self-starter who is detail-oriented with superior organization skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving work environment. Multi-tasking abilities, compassion for others, and a can-do attitude are a must!
