A Monthly Gathering for Adults with Type 1 Diabetes in the East Bay
Whether you were diagnosed back in the day when it was called “Juvenile Diabetes”; you are a newly diagnosed college freshman; or you were diagnosed well into your second career, the reality is that 85% of those living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) are over 18!
Without diabetes camps, it’s hard to meet others living with T1D with whom you can share information, ask questions, and get support. Beer & Basals is a casual gathering for adults who want to get to know others living with T1D and expand their circle of support.
Next Event: Monday, June 10, 7:30 – 9:30 pm
Location: Make Westing, 1741 Telegraph Ave, Oakland.
Date & Time: This group meets on the second Monday of each month from 7:30-9:30 pm. The location varies each month.
Dates for 2013: June 10, July 8, September 9, October 14, November 11, & December 9.
