East Bay Little Carbs
Little Carbs Playgroup is a gathering for parents and their children aged 1-5 where children can enjoy playing with other children living with type 1 diabetes. At the same time, parents spend time with other parents who know exactly what they are going through. It is an opportunity to get advice and support that is focused on the issues that are unique to managing diabetes in toddlers and pre-schoolers: recognizing lows, bolusing, day care, babysitter training, etc.
